Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Ander Herrera was allegedly robbed in his car after stopping at a traffic light in Paris on Tuesday evening.

Earlier in the year, ESPN reported that PSG duo Marquinhos and Angel Di Maria both had their homes burgled while they played for the French giants against Nantes.

News broke on Wednesday morning that an unnamed PSG player had once again been robbed, this time in their car while stopped at a traffic light. The player was later named as Ander Herrera.

The claims allege that Herrera was joined in his car by a prostitute while sat at a red traffic light, with the former Manchester United midfielder having his wallet and phone taken from him.

It’s claimed that his phone was later returned to him, with Herrera having been asked to drive to a location in order to retrieve it.

Footballers in the city of Paris will have their guard up right now, with multiple examples being given that they are not safe from criminals, whether it be their homes or cars being invaded.
