It’s been over a week since Paris Saint-Germain pulled off a comeback victory over FC Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinal tie. The Parisians needed to overcome the aggregate deficit and in the second leg to eliminate the Catalan side.

One of the standout players from the second leg was youngster Bradley Barcola. The 21-year-old generated the foul that led to the Ronald Araújo

red card and provided the assist on the goal from Ousmane Dembélé.

Barcola recently spoke with RMC Sport and revealed the team’s mindset despite being down 1-0 after Raphinha’s goal and down 4-2 on aggregate.

“Often, when we concede a goal, I have a reflex to look at my teammates to see their faces,” Barcola told the French media outlet. “And there, when we conceded, I didn’t even feel a bit of fear. Then I said to myself: ‘here we go, we’re all in the same frame of mind.’”

PSG would score four unanswered goals that allowed them to win the contest 4-1 and, on aggregate, 6-4 to advance past Barcelona with a historical result.

The Parisians will now face Borussia Dortmund next week in the Champions League semifinal as they’re 180 minutes away from reaching the final at Wembley Stadium.
