There has been another delay in Manchester United’s formal announcement of Raphael Varane, with the player yet to travel to Manchester despite an agreement being reached with Real Madrid several days ago.

As per Manchester United’s official website, an agreement in principle with Real Madrid for his transfer was reached six days ago. The player’s entry to England is said to be dependant on Varane acquiring a visa, as well as understanding current COVID-19 regulations.

According to The Telegraph, Manchester United may have to wait until next week to complete the arrival of Varane, with the 28-year-old, as of Monday, yet to make the trip from Madrid to Manchester.
