Real Betis coach Manuel Pellegrini was delighted with their 2-0 win at Cadiz.

Willian Jose and Pablo Fornals on debut were the goalscorers.

Pellegrini said: "Very happy. The team's performance, very solid from the beginning, both on the defensive side and with the ball. We scored the goal, we had a couple more, and then we lost aggressiveness in the last 15 minutes of the game first half, but we had a very complete second half.

"They barely had any scoring chances, we scored early and we had a lot of finishes."

On Johnny Cardoso's game, he added: "Johny played a very good game. It would be difficult for me to analyze any that were weak. Marc Roca, despite coming from a week with pneumonia, played a fairly complete game, the centre-backs, Germn and Papas, performed well, in attack we created chances, Nabil recovered... we don't have to worry about those who are missing but about those who are there and who play at the level we believe they can give."
