Real Betis coach Manuel Pellegrini drew positives from their 0-0 draw with Alaves.

Pellegrini insists he was satisfied with how they performed on Sunday.

He said: "I think the match was much more complete than the one we played on Thursday against Dinamo Zagreb, where we had less intensity. Today we did it but we couldn't convert the opportunities. They are two points lost at home but the team's attitude leaves me satisfied.

"In the first half we had a couple of clear chances, we dominated the game, similar to the second half in terms of possession. Two quite similar halves. In the second we had clearer chances, but we had dominance and crosses in both halves.

"Football always has explanations, but it is difficult to find the reasons. Now it is difficult for us to win at home, and in the first round it was not like that. We lack clarity to finish off the chances."

On Cedric Bakambu and their Europa Conference League trip to Dinamo Zagreb, he added: "Bakambu can give us a lot of things, that's why we brought him. We have to look for revenge on Thursday. A difficult game. It's only a goal difference. Hopefully we have a luckier day in terms of finishing, making a greater volume of chances than here at home.

"They have the ball a lot and they are going to try to play with the result of the first leg. We will go to the game to try to reverse the defeat at home."
