Kylian Mbappé will reportedly depart Paris Saint-Germain this summer when his contract with the capital club expires in June. Afterward, many expect the Frenchman to sign with Real Madrid.

As the 25-year-old’s arrival looms, former Portuguese star Luis Figo spoke about the PSG star in an interview with MARCA. When talking about Mbappé, Figo notes that he hopes that coming to the Spanish capital will bring him happiness.

“Being happy, that’s the most important thing in life,” Figo told the Spanish media outlet (h/t Bernabéu Digital). “I sought my happiness and was fortunate to come to Real Madrid and spend five years here.”

Mbappé is entering the prime years of his career, so he’ll need to be content with his decision to spend the next few years with Real Madrid. Nonetheless, the current squad will welcome him with open arms once the arrival becomes official.

Rodrygo also extended a warm welcome to the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner even if it means that he’ll have to deal with losing playing time next season. The 23-year-old is excited about the prospect of the PSG forward coming to Los Blancos
