Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has blasted ref Isidro Daz de Mera after Sunday's win against Sevilla.

Kroos admits he was happy seeing Daz de Mera injured and replaced during the game.

"I think that throughout the first half," Kroos said on his Einfach mal Luppen podcast, "all the referee's borderline interventions were whistled against us. Even some situations in which in reality there was nothing. What struck me and made me so angry about my yellow card was the fact that the referee was actually a metre away from the action. It was crazy.

"I move away from the opponent, I see him start dribbling in his area and I see that he wants to collide with me. I also move away so as not to have contact, but he calls a foul anyway. This was just the icing on the cake. God sees everything and the referee probably injured his calf. There were 80,000 spectators and everyone was desperate with his refereeing.

"We had two or three really good chances just before the referee stopped the game because he was injured. The referee really did everything wrong, he even got injured at the moment when it would have been worse for us to stop the match given how we were playing. It must be said that the fourth official was much better than Daz de Mera. He did a good job."
