The anticipation is building as Kylian Mbappé is reportedly set to leave for Real Madrid when his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires in June. The lingering questions about the Frenchman’s move to the Spanish giants are when the official agreement will be announced and when the player will be presented.

Mbappé’s Ligue 1 season ends on May 18th with a match against FC Metz, but PSG could reach the UEFA Champions League final in Wembley Stadium. The capital club will face FC Barcelona in the quarterfinal tie, and if they advance, they’ll face either Atletico Madrid or Borussia Dortmund.

With the Ligue 1 giants potentially advancing to the final and UEFA Euro 2024 commencing on June 14, the question remains: when would Real Madrid present the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner?

Spanish media outlet Diario AS reported on Thursday, citing sources, that it is not ruled out that many will have to wait until the beginning of August when Real Madrid returns from its tour in the United States. This will be when Mbappé gets presented as a player for Los Blancos

Nonetheless, AS adds that those within the club say that they’re asking Didier Deschamps to let Mbappé leave the camp for a day as busy as the one he will have on the day of his presentation, which is not very reasonable. It is not easy for them to accept that.

In addition, Real Madrid would have to ask PSG for another permit, given that the winger’s contract with the Parisians officially ends on June 30. As a result, the La Liga side might have to wait until August for any presentation.
