Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi insists their Champions League round 16 tie isn't over.

Zubimendi was speaking after their 2-0 first-leg defeat at PSG.

He said, "The feeling is bittersweet, because I think that positive things can be taken from the first half, it was good, it was demanding, but we were prepared to do it, with very strong pressure and generating opportunities, but in the second the first goal arrived from a set piece and we think that they have very good players who can score goals in 1,000 ways, but not from set pieces.

"I think that the first goal hurt us and that, in addition to the fact that physically we were no longer with so much energy, mentally we have gone. Why didn't we score? We already know, but we have to be calm, we can't be thinking everything time on it."

On the second leg in Anoeta, he added: "It's clear that the group stage gives us a lot to believe in, because in all the games we were superior and today in the first half, I'm not saying superior, but I do feel under control, so for the second leg we're not going to give up."
