A host of European teams including Inter, AC Milan, Benfica and Liverpool are keen on signing Almeria right-back Marc Pubill.

As reported by Portuguese newspaper Record (via Calciomercato.com) the young Spaniard is attracting serious interest thanks to his promising performances in what has been a poor season for Almeria.

The 20-year-old has racked up 18 La Liga appearances this season, scoring one goal and getting two assists for an Almeria side that is set for relegation.

With Milan potentially losing both Davide Calabria and Alessandro Florenzi in the summer, there is scope for a signing at right-back. As for Inter, they may sell Denzel Dumfries so will also be on the market.

Pubill joined Almeria last summer from Levante for €5m and it is believed that they would now like around €20m for him.

He is viewed as one of the best full-backs in Spanish football who is ready to take a step up, with Benfica also keeping him in mind. Liverpool are doing the same as they seek more depth in the defence.

There is scope for a bidding war for Pubill this summer if all four teams are serious about their interest, but Milan may wait to see what happens with Calabria.
