Many footballers over the years would have dreamt about it, but not many get the chance to wipe out a referee, and get away with it.
Lewis Holtby is one of the few. Six years ago today, the German midfielder went flying into a tackle on Howard Webb during Ledley King’s testimonial.
As always, a referee was desperate to involve themselves in the action, with Webb going on a dribble which Holtby stopped in its tracks.
This is arguably the biggest memory that Holtby left behind at Spurs, as he left a year later after a forgettable 42 appearances and three goals.
