Bruno Fernandes has reportedly become fed up with life at Manchester United and is looking to move to La Liga.

The news comes from Catalan outlet El Nacional just days after Fernandes gave an interview to Portuguese media about his commitment to the cause at Old Trafford.

Fernandes did not sound like a footballer who is in their agent’s ear about a potential summer move.

The Catalan publication claims Fernandes has asked his agent, Jorge Mendes, to try to find a new club. This has led to the 29-year-old being offered to Barcelona where Mendes has strong relations with Joan Laporta and Deco.

Of course, I could be wrong and sections of the Spanish media now believe Fernandes is trying to push for a switch to La Liga.

The Portugal international has not enjoyed his best season for United, scoring eight goals on top of nine assists, but he was made club captain by Erik ten Hag last year and I don’t think he’ll walk away from that just yet unless he is pushed out of the door.

El Nacional also believes that Ten Hag ‘will almost certainly be dismissed’, although sources close to Stretty News claim that Ineos Sports rgoup haven’t decided on the managerial situation.
