Genoa have been dealt a blow as their star striker Mateo Retegui most likely will miss the game against AC Milan tomorrow. There will be a familiar face for the Rossoneri fans in the Rossoblu’s XI, though.

According to today’s edition of Il Secolo XIX, as cited by MilanNews, Retegui is struggling with a knee injury and didn’t train with the team yesterday. Therefore, he will most likely miss the game tomorrow as Genoa don’t want to risk him.

The Italian international has found the back of the net five times this season and his absence is indeed a blow. As per the newspaper, Ruslan Malinovskyi and Albert Gudmundsson will partner up in attack, with Junior Messias starting on the right in the 4-4-2 formation.

Milan are still without Rade Krunic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, which means Yacine Adli will be back in the starting XI after coming off the bench against Dortmund. The Frenchman will be hoping for another good performance.
