Pep Guardiola make some alterations to his frontline at the start of this campaign as he decided to sell Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus to 'Big Six' rivals Chelsea and Arsenal respectively.

So due to his he lost some pace on the wings but due to Erling Haaland coming in all the pace has went through down the middle this season which has been a bit tricky for Manchester City to adjust to hence why they are not storming to the league title and are behind Arsenal in the league.

The winger at the club are Riyad Mahrez, Phil Foden and Jack Grealish who have all been in good form for most of the campaign but none of them have natural lighting pace so City may look at some old-school wingers in the summer with Guardiola potentially doing his shopping at his old club.

Reportedly Manchester City are looking at former Arsenal and West Brom winger Serge Gnabry who has been at Bayern Munich for the past six years.

The wide player has had a decent season so far as he has played 36 games in all competitions and scored 12 goals whilst getting 11 assists.

However he wouldn't be against a move away from the club as he thinks he is not viewed as important as he once was with the 27-year-old possibly falling out of favour with the last stretch of the season to go.

So therefore Bayern may cash in with Manchester City prepared to make an offer for the Germany international.
