Paris Saint-Germain manager Christophe Galtier faces pressure to succeed this 2022-23 season. The French tactician is coming off an underwhelming 1-1 result against Stade Reims on Sunday at the Parc des Prince.

If the capital club continues to trend downward, the rumors of a possible Zinedine Zidane arrival could begin to bubble. Additionally, should the French giants look at the former Real Madrid, they might have received a boost.

Mundo Deportivo reported on Sunday that Zidane would rule out managing in the Premier League because he doesn’t speak English. The 1998 FIFA World Cup winner’s playing and coaching career never took him to England. As a result, PSG and Juventus seem to be prime destinations for Zidane.

The Serie A side needs a manager to get the club out of mediocrity; additionally, the Italian FA (FIGC) handed Juventus a 15-point deduction for handling transfer finances.

Meanwhile, at PSG, a pursuit likely comes down to their performance in the UEFA Champions League. If Galtier and the squad crash out in the Round of 16 against Bayern Munich, then the Ligue 1 side might come calling.

Nonetheless, Zidane is looking for a project after the French Football Federation extended Didier Deschamps until 2026. So, could Zidane’s next stop be at PSG? We’ll have to wait and see.
