Since the UEFA Champions League elimination at the hands of Real Madrid back in March, many have called for change at Paris Saint-Germain. Several people have questioned why manager Mauricio Pochettino and sporting director Leonardo remain at their positions.

That’s likely to change this coming week as French football journalist Fabrice Hawkins reports  that The Emir of Qatar, who has made former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane his priority, is expected in Paris soon.

Hawkins adds that from Monday, he will conduct meetings. As a result, the club’s organization chart should change. The reporter also states that Kylian Mbappé’s decision won’t affect the significant changes that are looming for the Ligue 1 side.

It will be interesting to see what changes come to PSG as supporters call for the capital club to give some of their young players in their academy a chance and pursue young talents in Ligue 1. A new direction is needed, and it seems it’s coming.
