Tottenham Hotspur are actively scouting potential targets for the upcoming summer transfer window, with Girona left-back Miguel Gutierrez emerging as a prominent candidate for the North London club.

According to Relevo journalist Rodra, Spurs have expressed their interest in Miguel, but they face competition from other clubs.

As per the report, Spurs have told the player that they are interested in signing him.

Bayern Munich, Arsenal, and Chelsea are also reportedly monitoring the young defender.

Despite interest from various clubs, Miguel is said to be holding a desire to return to his childhood club, Real Madrid, where he began his football journey at the age of nine.

The 22-year-old was sold to fellow La Liga side Girona in the summer of 2022 for €4 million, with Real Madrid retaining a buyback clause of €8 million and 50% rights to the player.

Since joining Girona, Miguel has been a regular starter, featuring in all 22 La Liga games this season, contributing one goal and three assists.

Known for his versatility, he has also been deployed as a left midfielder in nine matches this campaign.

While Tottenham may hesitate to make a significant investment in Miguel, especially with Destiny Udogie performing well recently, the club’s recent ambitions could lead them to pursue the player despite his current market value of €20 million.
