Manchester United are reportedly waiting on the severity of Christian Eriksen’s injury before potentially making a late move in the January transfer window.
The Red Devils have signed two players on loan thus far this month — Jack Butland from Crystal Palace and Wout Weghorst from Burnley.
Meanwhile, Ten Hag has been told to work on a limited budget while the Glazers welcome investment into the club, which could mean an complete sale.
Dharmesh Sheth has suggested that Manchester United could look to the transfer market if Eriksen’s injury proves to be serious, although he hinted a loan arrival would be more likely than a permanent addition.
Eriksen was spotted leaving Old Trafford on crutches after the 3-1 win over Reading in the FA Cup fourth round. He was left injured after a horrific challenge from Andy Carroll, who was later sent off in the match.
Sheth told GIVEMESPORT: “Christian Eriksen went off on crutches when he left Old Trafford last night after the victory against Reading in the FA Cup.
“Depending on how serious that is would dictate whether United try and go into the market for a loan. I think for a big, big signing, it looks very unlikely with only a couple of days to go.”

I don’t think United will move this late in the window, but if Eriksen is ruled out for longer than a month, Ten Hag may want to look to see which midfielders are available on loan for the remainder of the season.
Ryan Gravenberch isn’t having the best time at Bayern Munich and would get more minutes at United, especially if Eriksen was ruled out with injury.
