Columbus will host the 2024 Major League Soccer All-Star Game, Sports Business Journal and The Columbus Dispatch reported Monday.

MLS commissioner Don Garber is expected to make the announcement Wednesday at Lower.com Field, which opened two years ago.

Columbus hosted the ASG in the original Crew Stadium in 2000 and 2005.

This year's All-Star Game will be held at Audi Field in Washington, D.C., home of D.C. United. The MLS All-Stars will face English Premier League side Arsenal on July 19.
