Fabrizio Romano has revealed why Harry Kane has not turned up for Tottenham training this morning.

Kane has been linked with a move away from Tottenham for several months now, but at no point has securing a move looked likely.

Manchester City are keen, with Kane open to the idea of moving to the Etihad, as has been reported by the Telegraph.

Though, City will have to meet Spurs’ valuation of Kane to have any chance of signing him, and as is mentioned in the report, the impending acquisition of Jack Grealish leaves that looking unlikely.

Still, news has broken this morning that Kane is looking to force his way out of Spurs by refusing to turn up for training this morning, on the day he was due back from his holidays.

There were reports which suggested Kane’s absence was merely a consequence of the need to return a negative COVID-19 test…

…however, transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has now revealed that Kane’s reasoning for not showing up IS transfer related, with the 28-year-old intent on holding Daniel Levy to an apparent gentlemen’s agreement.

This is all going to end in tears…
