Inter Milan will be hunting for new stars in the summer to further enhance their squad. The club has reportedly identified three playing positions to address.

The Nerazzurri have already booked Mehdi Taremi and Piotr Zielinski for next season. The Iranian striker and the Polish midfielder will join as free agents in July once their respective contracts with Porto and Napoli expire.

However, Inter directors Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio won’t stop there.

According to Sportmediaset via FcInterNews, the newly-crowned Serie A champions will be looking to bolster three areas of the squad.

The first will be the goalkeeping department. Inter need to sign a new understudy for Yann Sommer, with Emil Audero unlikely to make his switch form Sampdoria permanent.

As we reported earlier today, the Italian giants are working on a deal to bring Brazil international Bento.

The squad position that Inter will address is the right wingback role, but only in case Denzel Dumfries leaves.

Inter Milan Looking To Bolster Three Positions In Their Squad This Summer

The Dutchman’s contract will expire in 2025. So unless he signs a new contract before the summer, the Nerazzurri will be looking to sell him to avoid losing his services for free a year later.

Nevertheless, his departure would leave a gap on the right flank. Although Inter signed Tajon Buchanan in January, the Canadian has been starving for playing times. Moreover, Simone Inzaghi has been deploying him on the left side.

Finally, the Serie A champions are also looking to sign an additional attacker, despite securing Taremi’s services.

The main candidates for this role are young Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee and Genoa’s revelation Albert Gudmundsson.
