Paulo Dybala has chosen an Arab publication to give his first interview in months, dishing on the coaching change, the links to the local league, and his future with Al Arabi AL Jadeed (via Goal).

“Daniele De Rossi was a Roma icon, and he’s now fully immersed in his new role. He’s relaying his ideas. It’s truly stimulating to work with him. I want to give my best for this squad and the fans who welcomed me in an incredible fashion. I’d like to obtain a positive result and qualify for the Champions League this year.”

Dybala spoke about being coached by José Mourinho.

“It meant significant growth for me. He has done a lot throughout his career, and his experience helps you a lot. I don’t know what the future holds for him, but he’ll surely continue in a top team.”

Dybala lauded the Saudi Pro League while voicing his commitment to Roma.

“Their growth has been incredible in the last two years, in terms of players, clubs, and quality. I’ve been impressed by its level and the passion of the fans. The stadiums are always full. Many Argentinians play here and talk highly of it. The Supercoppa in 2019 was a new and very positive experience for me.”

“At the moment, my future is just the next game, and then we’ll see what happens. I play for Roma and see myself here. The Saudi championship is surely one of the most important, along with the MLS and the European ones.”
