Roma goalkeeper Mile Svilar is still coming down after his Europa League heroics.

Svilar was the hero as Roma defeated Feyenoord in a penalty shootout to setup a round 16 tie with Brighton.

He told AS Roma podcast: "(Coach Daniele) De Rossi told me to pay attention to VAR for penalties. When I saved the first one, I thought I might have made a mistake and put my feet wrong, then it happened."

What is your relationship with Rui Patricio?

"He is a great man. We speak Portuguese so it's also easy. We have a good relationship, even when he plays I support him and the team."

It's not easy to play little and do as well as you're doing.

"I always had the perception that everyone believed in me. I was the first, I must always believe in it and always work. I did it, I believe, and I will do it until the end, that's how I am. I also felt the support of the owners, of the president, the whole team felt the same thing. Ryan Friedkin was with us on the bus to the stadium. For such an important match it is a beautiful gesture."

Now Brighton.

"It's a tough opponent, it will be difficult. But I believe in this team and I believe we can go far and do something special. European matches in this stadium are always special."
