Friday’s printed edition of Tuttosport newspaper claims Roma and Daniele De Rossi are ‘highly’ interested in Juventus star Federico Chiesa.

Page seven of Friday’s printed edition of Tuttosport newspaper reports Roma are highly interested in Juventus and Italy star Federico Chiesa.

Roma boss De Rossi, who has been confirmed by the club for 2024-25, is an admirer of the ex-Fiorentina star with whom he worked during his spell as Roberto Mancini’s assistant at Euro 2020.

Chiesa contributed to the Azzurri’s victory with two goals in seven appearances, one against Austria and one against Spain in the semifinals.

Chiesa’s contract at the Allianz Stadium expires in June 2025 and, as reported by Football Italia pundit Matteo Moretto, the Bianconeri have scheduled a meeting with his agent Fali Ramadani to discuss a new deal.

Newcastle United have also been linked with signing Chiesa, but according to Moretto, the Magpies’ interest is still unconfirmed. Chiesa has eight goals and two assists in 29 appearances across all competitions this season.
