Real Madrid are closing in on extending the contract of Brahim Diaz and may close the door on a permanent deal for AC Milan, it is claimed.

According to the latest update from Fabrizio Romano on his YouTube channel, Real Madrid have been watching the performances of Brahim Diaz who is currently in his third season on loan at Milan from Los Blancos and they are happy with what they see.

They know that the 23-year-old is developing and has become important for the Rossoneri and as such they want to extend his contract. In fact, Romano states that talks between Real and Brahim over an extension are ‘very advanced’.

Then, they will have to decide what happens in the summer with the playmaker as the Sky journalist mentions the possibility that he either remains in the Spanish capital to become part of the squad or is loaned out again, but there is no mention of a possible permanent deal for Milan.
