Inter striker Romelu Lukaku is set to see a further increase to his playing time in tomorrow evening’s Serie A clash with Sampdoria.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 29-year-old will take the opportunity to increase his match-sharpness having already returned from injury against Viktoria Plzen.

Lukaku only made a cameo appearance against Viktoria Plzen in Wednesday evening’s Champions League win.

It was enough for the Belgian to show the Nerazzurri exactly what they’d been missing for two months, getting on the scoresheet to round out a 4-0 victory.

Lukaku has not quite been ready to get thrust straight back into the starting lineup after being out for two months with a thigh strain.

However, with a bit more playing time, the Belgian should be back to his best.

Lukaku will get further playing time in tomorrow evening’s match against Sampdoria, and the hope is that he can take the opportunity to get back to something like complete match-fitness.
