Juventus defender Daniele Rugani was happy with their Coppa Italia win against Salernitana.

Rugani scored in the 6-1 on Thursday.

He later said: "Everything is fine, I'm very happy with the goal, it was a delicate moment and it gave us the right serenity to finish calmly the match.

"It is proof that we have the quality to score more goals and play better, today we played well and the slap we took at the start did us good. Let's take the positive from this match, both those who were there from the start and those who came in showed that they were on track for the goal.

"Certainly facing the long week (without Europe) is an advantage. We know that this year is special and allows us to work harder, giving us this opportunity to prepare for matches better, spending less energy and protecting the players from various ailments. Let's try to exploit this advantage."
