Former Liverpool and Bayern Munich forward Sadio Mane reportedly married partner Aisha Tamba in Senegal at the weekend.

The ceremony was said to be a private event with only family and close friends in attendance.

Al Nassr star Mane has not yet publicly shared any photos from the wedding, while his wife apparently does not have any social media accounts.

Nevertheless, multiple wedding snaps have gone viral online after originally being posted to Instagram by "magvision_evens_officiel".

Back in June 2022, Mane was quoted by Tribuna as saying: "The woman I marry will not be on social networks.

"I want to marry a woman who respects God and prays well. Everyone has their own way of making their choice of love."

Both Mane, 31, and Tamba, 18, were pictured dressed all in white on their special day.

According to Business Day, their wedding took place on Sunday, January 7 in the Keur Massar region of Dakar.

Senegal beat Niger 1-0 in a friendly the following day but Mane did not play.

However, Mane is expected to start on January 15 when Senegal begin the defense of their Africa Cup of Nations title against Gambia.

Cameroon and Guinea are also in Senegal's AFCON group.
