Salernitana fans have won over hearts with a stunning tifo display to honor iconic music band Pink Floyd before their game against Inter. While Lautaro Martinez’s remarkable four-goal match-winning performance dazzled the hosts after half-time, it was Curva Sud Siberiano that stole the show even before the match kicked off.

A gigantic multi-layered display adorned the stands behind the south area of the goal at the 37,800-capacity Stadio Arechi, honoring the British rock band. Fans started their choreography by rolling down the poster of The Wall, before unveiling the two metal heads from the album The Divison Bell at either side of the stand.

The Wall was then slid down, as the famous prism from Shine on You Crazy Diamond came tumbling down the stands with the words: “Ci troverete sempre qua nel lato oscura della luna,” which translates to “You will always find us here on the dark side of the moon.”

Finally, the prism was also let go to unveil a diamond with the club’s crest embedded in it, with the words subtitled: “Continua a brillare pazzo diamante”“Keep shining crazy diamond.”

The tifo was reportedly inspired by the 50th year anniversary of Pink Floyd’s album The Dark Side of the Moon.

Salernitana are the closest Serie A team to Pompeii, just 24 kilometers away, where Floyd has a storied history of performing one of their most iconic gigs.
