Borussia Dortmund loan star Jadon Sancho has revealed Marco Reus tried to convince him to join the club in the summer.

Sancho has returned to Germany on loan for the rest of the season from Manchester United.

His ill-fated spell at Old Trafford appeared to have life left in it in the summer, but by January he had been banished from the first team picture due to disciplinary issues.

In an interview on Dortmund's YouTube channel, Sancho stated: "That Vegas clip, he [Reus] was telling me to come back to Dortmund.

"That's inside information and he said 'Whenever you're ready bro I'm here'.

I've always had it in my mind that if it didn't work out somewhere, BVB is a place I know and everyone knows me inside out. It's good to know the club and the players back me."
