Callum McGregor and David Turnbull have been named among the substitutes for Scotland’s crucial World Cup qualifier at Hampden this evening against Moldova. The must win game kicks off at 7.45pm and is live on Sky Sports.

Steve Clarke has named the following side which includes FOUR former Celtic players – Craig Gordon now of Hearts in goals, Jack Hendry (Club Brugge) and Kieran Tierney (Arsenal) in defence and Ryan Christie (Bournemouth) in midfield…Gordon; Hendry, Hanley, Tierney; Patterson, McGinn, Gilmour, Christie, Robertson; Dykes, Nisbet.

Joining the two Celtic bhoys on the bench are Kelly, Clark, O’Donnell, Adams, McKenna, Gallagher, Cooper, Ferguson, Fraser and McLean.

Steve Clarke has started to come under pressure after a disappointing European Championships and falling behind in this World Cup group. After the 2-0 loss in Copenhagen on Wednesday night, Scotland need to get the 3 points this evening or the chances of getting to the World Cup are slim to non existent.

Hopefully Turnbull and McGregor come through this without any injuries as the Tartan Army get the chance to cheer on Steve Clare’s side at Hampden for the first time in many, many months.
