One of the names that has emerged in recent days as a transfer target for AC Milan is Aaron Anselmino of Boca Juniors, and another update has arrived.

According to what is being reported by Calciomercato.com, Anselmino wants to continue in the footsteps of Nicolas Otamendi and Walter Samuel, and he is working to write his story that began in the Boca Juniors youth team and continued his first team debut on 11 June 2023 against Lanus.

Anselmino is considered among the best young defenders in all of South America, he has the means and personality to become an top player, which has drawn the interest of various clubs.

A few months ago he ended up in Milan’s scouting network following the recommendation of the scout who had also recommended Enzo Fernández and Julian Alvarez two years ago when they played for River Plate.

Anselmino is a right-footed central defender, physically well built and very strong in marking. For Milan he is a top-level profile who will be followed with great attention until the end of the season.

The interest is very concrete even if we cannot yet speak of a real negotiation having started. The 18-year-old is still very popular among Premier League, LaLiga and Bundesliga clubs.

In his contract there is a release clause of €20m, and the idea is to sign one of Maxence Lacroix (Wolfsburg) or Alessandro Buongiorno (Torino) for the present, and Anselmino for the future.
