Napoli are an inch away from becoming the new Serie A champions at the expense of reigning Scudetto holders Inter Milan.

Per Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the league has already organized the title ceremony in Naples.

However, that’s somewhat of an awkward decision.

Indeed, Antonio Conte’s side lead the way in Serie A, yet their one-point lead over Inter looks fragile.

Both teams drew their penultimate league games, taking the title race to the final weekend.

And there’s still a chance for the Nerazzurri to return to the throne.

Serie A Organizes Scudetto Ceremony in Naples, Showing Disrespect to Inter Milan

Both final-day fixtures will take place on Friday.

Napoli will host Cagliari, while Inter head to Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia to take on Como.

However, Serie A seems to have no faith in Simone Inzaghi and his lads.

They’ve only set up a title ceremony at Stadio Diego Maradona as if Inter have already lost the battle.

It’s yet another insult to Inter, especially after what referee Daniele Chiffi did to Nerazzurri’s Scudetto bid last weekend.
