Spanish clubs Sevilla and Atletico Madrid are interested in signing Lazio defender Luiz Felipe, whose contract expires next year.

As reported by the Spanish press (via LazioNews24) last night, the 24-year-old Brazilian defender’s current deal expires with the Biancocelesti next year in 2022 and a renewal has not been signed yet.

Whilst there is reportedly an agreement in place between Luiz Felipe and Lazio, pen still hasn’t been put to paper, and so there is a chance that he could leave on a free transfer next summer.

Sevilla are interested in signing the Brazilian defender as they are looking for a possible replacement for Jules Koundé, who is likely to depart the club next summer.

Atletico Madrid, on the other hand, are always on the lookout for high-value free transfers and have appreciated Luiz Felipe for some time now.

The 24-year-old Luiz Felipe is a core part of coach Maurizio Sarri’s squad, having appeared in all but two games across all competitions so far this campaign.
