Sevilla coach Quique Sanchez Flores was delighted with their instant response after victory at Granada.

Sevilla delivered Sanchez Flores a debut win thanks to goals Adri Pedrosa, Lucas Ocampos and Sergio Ramos scoring for the 3-0 win.

Sanchez Flores said: "We came with the hope of leaving our souls and reversing the situation. The players are good and it is not the first time that it has happened in a big club, that things do not work out, there are many injuries and the streaks do not come.

"Let's all change the way we understand things and with a little luck and attention, following what the fans want, we'll see if do things well to be better.

"It was important to win today by keeping a clean sheet. Mentally the player's perspective changes when he goes into the locker room with a clean sheet. That rush of security that it gives you, immediate, we have it with a clean sheet.

"We believe that not making mistakes, keeping a clean sheet and gaining confidence with the ball from three quarters onwards is important. At some point we got Granada into the game with some unnecessary losses, but I like that the players appear and play where they have to, where they can make scoring chances.

"The players are very well, some are very tired. They have been days of great excitement and movement and now I want to rest, because they have been three hectic days. I don't remember days like this in my career, but you learn from everything. Surely we learn some lessons from this."
