At the same time, Anderlecht is said to have had a bid accepted. The Dane is currently on-loan with the Belgians.
Sevilla chief Victor Orta told Tipsbladet: "Yes, that is the plan.
"I have read the story, but it is not true. We have a good relationship with Anderlecht, and I haven't heard anything from them.
"I think that Anderlecht's full focus right now is on trying to win the league."
