Sheffield United striker Oli McBurnie believes that his side can hold their own against Manchester City.

The Blades, who are in the Championship, will take on the Premier League title contenders in the FA Cup semi final at Wembley in April.

While he acknowledges they are underdogs in the contest, McBurnie says that City would underestimate them at their own peril.

"It'll be a good day out, I'm sure," the striker said.

"It's a tough game, obviously; playing the best team in the world, in my opinion. I really think that. It'll be good.

We've played them a few times a couple of years ago [in the Premier League] and we were always in the game and made it interesting. It'll be a great day out for the fans, and we'll be there to make it as tough for City as possible."

He added: "It was probably the draw we wanted [against Blackburn] in terms of getting through to the next round. We'd played them a couple of weeks before and we weren't really at the races that day, so it was one we thought was a good one to get them back.

"It was a good occasion and I thought the boys were excellent. People have told me how fun the game was as a neutral to watch, so it's always good to entertain as well."
