Sky journalist Peppe Di Stefano has revealed that Samuel Chukwueze has been very impressing in training so far and tipped him to thrive in Italy.

The right wing position has been problematic for some time now with both Junior Messias and Alexis Saelemaekers struggling to find consistency, and that is why the signing of Chukwueze from Villarreal has generated so much excitement.

He has been referred to as ‘Leao’s twin’ by virtue of his similar skill set, something we explored in an analysis piece, and he signed a deal until June 2028 with a transfer fee of €20m plus €8m in bonuses paid out by the Rossoneri.

Peppe Di Stefano spoke during a segment live on Sky from Milanello about how things look for Milan heading into the first game of the season, with his comments relayed by Radio Rossonera, and he had some interesting things to say about Chukwueze.

“Watch out for Chukwueze, because he’s making an impression in these first 10/15 days at Milanello. He has dribbling in his blood, he runs, shoots, goes at his opponent and we know in Italy how much difference this can make,” he said.
