Stefano Sensi is on the verge of joining Leicester City and didn’t show up for a training session with Inter on Thursday morning, reports Sky Sport Italia.

Italian midfielder Sensi is on the verge of joining his compatriot Enzo Maresca at Leicester City, reports Sky Sport Italia.

Inter and Leicester City have reportedly reached an agreement over a free transfer, but the English side will pay €2.5m in add-ons if they get promoted to the Premier League this season.

Sensi’s contract with Inter was due to expire in June 2024, so he was allowed to leave on a low transfer fee.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Sensi is not training with his teammates at the Suning Centre on Thursday morning as he’s preparing for his imminent transfer to England.

On Wednesday he did train with his teammates, so it is understood that Inter and Leicester City have finally shaken hands on the midfielder’s transfer.
