The son of England striker Emile Heskey - Jaden Heskey - has become the latest Manchester City academy player.

The young talent, who is only 17, signed a professional contract with the Citizens.

Emile was also present at the City Football Academy to appreciate this moment for his son.

The forward scored six goals in 18 games across under-21, under-19 and under-18 levels last term.

Posting on Instagram, Heskey wrote: "Very proud moment to sign my first professional contract."

Jaden will be hoping to impress with the Under-18s, 19s, and Under-21s even more next term.
