The former Manchester United defender and Newcastle United manager Steve Bruce has left Tyneside on Mutual consent. The 60 year old did a good job with the northern club, it’s a club for years that didn’t have the resources that’s needed to compete at the very top.

With the new Saudi owners coming in to take over the Newcastle club and making them the richest club in the league by a long way, surely they will get every player and everything that is needed to start climbing up to the top of the table.

We wish Steve Bruce all the best in whatever he does next, he can hold his head up high on the job he did up North.
