Wojciech Szczesny made it clear that he has only Juventus in his mind and that he’s not attracted by the Saudi sirens, unlike a host of players that moved there this summer. The goalkeeper was quizzed about it by TVP Sport (via Mediaset).

“I’ve already earned a lot during my career. I prefer fun challenges, and defending the Bianconeri posts is the best thing I could do. I’m attached to this club, and they want me here.”

Szczesny suggested he wouldn’t leave for other destinations either.

“I know that I am and will be a Juventus player unless they don’t want me anymore. I don’t read much about me. It’s improbable that a rumor will affect me.”

The Pole addressed the fact that they won’t play in the cups in the upcoming season.

“For the first time in my career, there’ll be time to train adequately and rest. It’s not the end of the world. I’ll watch the Champions League on TV. The desire to reconquer the Scudetto is increasingly stronger. We’re frustrated for not having had success lately. We’re motivated to resume fighting for the title.”

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Szczesny is on Bayern Munich’s shortlist to replace Yann Sommer and Manuel Neuer but has rejected the proposal so far. Instead, Juventus inquired about Gianluigi Donnarumma and Marco Carnesecchi if they were in need of a substitute.
