Lazio’s talks with Atalanta for talented goalkeeper Marco Carnesecchi have stalled over a price disagreement.

Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) details how la Dea are insisting on their €18 million valuation, desperate to cash in on the 21-year-old Italian shot stopper. The meeting with Lazio yesterday wasn’t particularly productive as the Roman club simply confirmed their offer of €12 million plus €3 million in add-ons.

The two parties will meet again soon to try and reach an agreement but for now it seems as if Lazio will have to increase their offer if they want to convince Atalanta to sell Carnesecchi. The player has already agreed to make the move to Rome and is waiting for things to be closed out.

The 21-year-old Italian shot stopper is currently sidelined following a shoulder operation, forcing him out of action for around three to four months. Despite the injury, the Roman club have still placed their faith in the talented prospect.
