Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni says the players are all excited about the big games coming up.

Real are at Manchester City this week for the Champions League quarterfinal second-leg with the score locked at 3-3.

Tchouameni, who struck the winner at Mallorca on Saturday, said: "There is an important match for us against Manchester City on Wednesday.

"It wasn't easy because the other day we played a very difficult match against Manchester City. We were a little tired but when we play for Real Madrid we have to give everything on the pitch until the end and we did it and we won.

"We have a very important squad. I remember Bellingham's home goal against Getafe or Modric's. We have a squad with a lot of quality and we know that in the end a player will demonstrate his quality, score a goal and help the team get the three points.

"Now we aim for Manchester City. We always say that the next match is the most important of the season, like against Barcelona in the Super Cup. But there are many of them. The first leg against Manchester City was very important, today's match was also very important and let's say straight away that Wednesday's match will also be important. Then there will be the next one against Barcelona in the league, but they are all important."
