Milan are about to complete their second winter signing, as Filippo Terracciano came in on Sunday night and will take the medicals and complete the formalities on Monday. The Rossoneri always seemed in the lead once Verona decided to cash in on the youngster and never relinquished it.
Per SportMediaset, the 20-year-old will transfer in a €4.5M move plus €1.5 add-ons and a ten percent re-sale clause. He had appeared in every game this season prior to the recent one, where he was left out for obvious reasons, handling multiple roles in the back and the midfield.
Terracciano will be tied to Milan until 2028 once he puts pen to paper. He has spent the entirety of his career at Hellas Verona. He has collected 49 total caps, scored once, and provided five assists.
Director Geoffrey Moncada commented on the newcomer to Sky before the Empoli game.
“We’ve been following him for two years. He’s a true jack-of-all-trades defensively. He can play in the midfield too with his physique. We’re very happy. The offers we have received for Rade Krunic don’t satisfy us so far. If that doesn’t change, he’ll stay here.”

While he might top out as a steady backup, his versatility will come in handy given their constant injury crisis, and the fee was modest. He can play that role in a pinch, but he’s very different from Krunic. The two things aren’t necessarily connected.
