Manchester City and Brighton have confirmed their starting lineups ahead of tonight’s crucial Premier League encounter at the Amex Stadium. It is a crucial game for Pep Guardiola’s side, who currently need 6 wins to win a fourth consecutive Premier League title.

But a tough test awaits the world champions against Roberto De Zerbi’s side. The Seagulls will be no pushover at home despite the fact they sit 10th on the Premier League table and have a squad ravaged by injury.

For Manchester City, they will be without the services of Erling Haaland for tonight’s match. Pep Guardiola revealed during his pre-game press conference that Haaland would miss tonight’s game due to injury. The City manager also told the media that Haaland’s injury isn’t believed to be too serious.

There was, however, positive news on the condition of Phil Foden and John Stones. Guardiola confirmed that the pair are available for tonight’s match after their was doubt over the pairs availability. It is a boost for the champions as they bid to pick up a vital three points tonight.

Pep Guardiola has made three changes to the starting lineup that beat Chelsea 1-nil in the FA Cup semi-final last weekend. In comes Ederson, Josko Gvardiol and Mateo Kovacic. Out goes Stefan Ortega, John Stones and Jack Grealish.
