Arsenal players have been fantasy gold in the 2023/24 league season and as the football year draws to a close, picking up one or more of the Gunners for your squad could help propel you up the ranks. Last Word on Football brings you three players who should be in consideration for your FPL squad.

Arsenal Players To Select For FPL Gameweek 37

Kai Havertz (Cost: £7.5m, TSB: 8.0%)

Kai Havertz has proven to be a crucial asset for Mikel Arteta’s side in their hunt for the Premier League and has also rewarded his FPL managers richly in the last few weeks.

The German international has produced two assists and three goals in the last three weeks despite facing London rivals Chelsea and Tottenham in that time.

His underlying goal threat, cheap value, and low ownership make him an ideal candidate to buy ahead of a trip to Old Trafford. Manchester United were dealt another blow after an injury to Harry Maguire earlier this month. It could be a tough night against the league’s top-scoring team with no fit central defenders in the side.

Gabriel Magalhaes (Cost: £5.4m, TSB: 27.6%)

Buying an Arsenal defender is a no-brainer this season considering the fact that the Gunners have the most clean sheets in the English top division. Gabriel offers the highest goal threat among all the Arsenal defenders and should feast from set-pieces against the Red Devils.

At £5.4m he is considerably cheaper than Ben White (£6.1m) and Arsenal have the added benefit of having a good fixture on the last day against Everton at the Emirates.

After his brilliant strike was ruled offside against the Spurs, the Brazilian defender would be eager to get on the scoresheet against Erik ten Hag’s side.

Takehiro Tomiyasu (Cost: £4.5m, TSB: 0.3%)

Our last recommendation is cut-price defender Tomiyasu who has cemented his spot at left-back since returning from injury. With Gameweek 37 being a popular week for Bench Boosts in the FPL community, having the Japanese star can free up space to buy other big hitters like Erling Haaland and Mohammed Salah.

It should also be noted that the 25-year-old inverts into midfield for Arsenal and can be seen taking up attacking positions in the box when in possession. Tomiyasu is also only 0.3% owned in the game and could prove to be a massive point-scoring differential in the last two weeks of the season.
