Former Tottenham, Aston Villa and Sunderland striker Darren Bent has picked his all-time Premier League XI containing South American stars only – including three former Manchester United players.

Bent played for Tottenham, Villa, Sunderland, Derby County, Charlton, Fulham, Brighton, Ipswich and Burton Albion. He scored plenty of goals throughout his career (member of the 100-club with 106 goals in the top flight) but there is no denying that he was bit of a journey man.

The former England international played against some stellar players along the way, too.

Five former United players made the cut when Bent revealed his Premier League South American XI on talkSPORT this week. They include Antonio Valencia, Gabriel Heinze, Alexis Sanchez.

Full line-up: Alisson Becker; Valencia, David Luiz, Thiago Silva, Heinze; Fernandinho, Juninho Paulista, Roberto Firmino; Luis Suarez, Sergio Aguero, Alexis Sanchez.
