Tuttosport newspaper highlights how Sandro Tonali’s sale to Newcastle last summer proved nobody is ‘unsellable’ at Milan.

The Rossoneri sent Tonali to Newcastle for a reported €80m, including add-ons, last summer and according to Tuttosport, the Italian midfielder’s transfer proved the Rossoneri no longer have ‘unsellable’ players.

Tonali, 23, scored one goal in 12 games with the Premier League side this season before receiving a ten-month ban for betting.

He will return to action in August 2024.

Milan could sell more stars this summer to boost their transfer budget and strengthen their finances further.

According to Tuttosport, the likes of Theo Hernandez and Mike Maignan are also not ‘untouchable’, and Milan could even decide to send one of them to Bayern Munich for money plus Joshua Zirkzee if the Bavarians re-buy the Dutch striker for €40m.

Tonali is a long-time Milan fan and joined the Rossoneri in 2019 from Brescia. He scored seven goals in 130 appearances with the Rossoneri before joining Newcastle last summer.
