Wolverhampton Wanderers take on Luton Town on Saturday, April 27, at Molineux in the Premier League. Kickoff is at 3:00 PM GMT. Last Word on Football brings you the top three Wolves players to select in your fantasy team for Gameweek 35.

3 Wolves Players to Start For FPL Gameweek 35

Gameweek 35: Jose Sa

Jose Sa has only kept four clean sheets this season, however, his save rate isn’t to be overlooked. Due to this, Sa has picked up a good number of points in FPL, averaging 4.6 points in his last three matches. Due to this, Sa should be a Wolves player in consideration, especially when coming up against a Luton side who are currently facing a return straight back down to the Championship.

In Wolves’ last game, which was a 1-0 home defeat to Iraola’s Bournemouth, Sa received three points in FPL, the same points in their match before this in their 2-0 defeat to Arsenal. Sa was ranked the best Wolves player in the loss to Bournemouth, in which he produced five saves in a game Bournemouth dominated with shots.

Sa also faced many shots against currently top-of-the-league Arsenal, preventing seven out of nine shots on target. Much like against Bournemouth, Sa was one of the most accurate passers in the match, helping him to gain a better match rating.

However, it was Wolves’ last away match in which Sa was pivotal for his FPL owners, gaining eight points in a 2-2 draw away at the City Ground. Sa faced more than half the amount of shots that Matz Sels faced in the Forest goal and due to this only had a save rate of 50%. However, most crucial to all, Sa assisted Cunha, who scored a brace. Sa is currently the seventh-best goalkeeper in the league under £5 million in FPL. Sa would be an excellent addition to any fantasy team.

Max Kilman

Kilman is also another crucial player not only for Wolves but for FPL members. The Wolves captain is only £4.6 million on FPL, yet he has started every match for O’Neil’s side. Kilman has played the full 90 minutes of every Premier League match this season, with the last game he only played partially – was against Arsenal last season.

Kilman is accurate, as in his last game, he had an 82% pass completion rate, completing 40 out of 49 total passes. He also created a chance which resulted in a shot on target, yet couldn’t add to the two league goal contributions has has obtained this season. The twenty-six-year-old is a solid defender in the air, winning 71% of Ariel duels against Bournemouth as well as having four-headed clearances.

Yet, the last time that Wolves kept a clean sheet came against Sheffield United in a 1-0 home win back in February, where Sarabia scored the winner from a header late inside the first half. That being said, Kilman is a great and cheap addition to any Fantasy team, with a match against relegation-threatened Luton maybe being the perfect opportunity to transfer him in.

Pablo Sarabia

A final player to include within your fantasy team is Pablo Sarabia, who has started a large majority of games for O’Neil’s side this season. Sarabia has also been important for the Wolves’ attack recently, scoring a penalty against West Ham and getting an assist against Burnley the match prior.

Sarabia is vital to Wolves, with the Spaniard starting eleven of the past thirteen league matches. In addition, he scored off the bench against Manchester United in a 4-3 home defeat earlier in the year. In the 27 matches he’s played in – he has had eleven goal contributions, averaging around a goal contribution every 2.45 matches.

Despite this, Sarabia has gained a below-average score in his last three matches, with one of which he came off the bench against Arsenal. Wolves are also in a poor run of form, with only Sheffield United boasting a worse recent record.
